Friday, Sept. 16: Festa Italiana kicks off today

The annual Italian festival, Festa Italiana, kicks off today in front of city hall at Washington and Montgomery streets in downtown Syracuse. The event features great Italian food, games, crafts, merchandise, and of course, live music.

Today's entertainment schedule includes: Jimmy Cavallo with Chuck Sgroi, John LaTocha, Tony Licamele, Jim Nestico, Richard Mulpagano (4 p.m.); Nova (6:15 p.m.); Esty Crisona (8 p.m.); and Atlas (9:30 p.m.). Admission is free.
