Wednesdays on the Water series canceled

Promoter Marc Albert announced Tuesday that he has been forced to cancel the three remaining concerts in the Wednesdays on the Water series at Syracuse's Inner Harbor. Former Foreigner lead singer Lou Gramm and the Todd Hobin Band were scheduled to perform at this week's free concert.

Albert said poor attendance and low concession sales made this decision necessary. “The series (budget) was based on attendance and (subsequent) concession figures. The last few weeks, it hasn’t been there,' he said in an interview with the Post-Standard's Mark Bialczak. "I can only go so deep out of pocket. ... All I could see was a deeper loss.”
