Bruce Springsteen heading to Upstate New York


Bruce Springsteen is kicking off his "Wrecking Ball" tour March 18 and two Upstate New York dates are included in the schedule. The Boss will be at First Niagara Center in Buffalo April 13 and the Times Union Center in Albany April 16.

Tickets go on sale Saturday, January 28 at 12 p.m. through Live Nation. Prices range from $41 to $101.

Sunday, Jan. 15: Ruby Shooz performs at benefit today


Ruby Shooz performs at a benefit for the family of Myrle Capria at the Polish American Citizens Club (526 Teall Avenue). The event will include food, drinks, raffles and much more.

Ms. Capria, who lost her battle with cancer Jan. 7,  was employed as a customer service representative at Carrier for ten year. She was well-known in the community for her efforts as a Pop Warner cheerleading coach.

Admission $30 person or $50 couple and $15 for children under 18.

The event starts at 1 p.m.

Ruby Shooz to headline Myrle Capria benefit Jan. 15


Ruby Shooz performs at a benefit for Myrle Capria at the Polish American Citizens Club (526 Teall Avenue)  Sunday, Jan. 15. The event will include food, drinks, raffles and much more.

Ms. Capria, who lost her battle with cancer Jan. 7,  was employed as a customer service representative at Carrier for ten year. She was well-known in the community for her efforts as a Pop Warner cheerleading coach.

Admission $30 person or $50 couple and $15 for children under 18.

The event starts at 1 p.m.
