Tuesday, Dec. 21: Welcome to winter!

There's not a whole lot going on tonight, but it is now officially winter in Central New York. We've have plenty of practice as fall ended however. It's going to be that kind of winter. It's all good, though, as there are plenty of great live music events coming up in the weeks ahead. And, the red-hot Syracuse Orange men's basketball team makes winter bearable.

Here are a few gigs for tonight:
  • Winter Band Concert at West Middle School Auditorium, Auburn, 7 p.m.
  • Joe Henson hosts Open Mic at Village Tavern, Marcellus, 7:30 p.m.
  • Sweet Lou hosts Open Mic at Lock 24, Baldwinsville
  • Dave Hawthorn at Hotch’s, Cicero, 6 p.m.
  • Big D hosts Open Jam at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Syracuse
