Sunday, Dec. 5: SWIM holiday party and much more today

Sundays offer a variety of live music and cultural events in and around the 'Cuse. Here's what's going on:

  • S.W.I.M. (Syracuse Women In Music) Holiday Party with AboutTime featuring Sheela Tucker, The Shakedown featuring Sue Royal, Catastrophe Me featuring Heather Brushell, Mojo featuring Lisa Henderson and Liz Strodel and Friends at Mac’s Bad Art Bar, Mattydale (1-7 p.m.)
  • Los Blancos will be at Gio's Tavern (207 Walton St.)  to celebrate the bar's grand opening. Music starts at 7 p.m.
  • Old-Time Music Jam at Kellish Hill Farm (3192 Pompey Center Road, Manlius), 1 p.m., $2 donation
  • Bells & Motley perform “A Celebration of Early Yuletide Musical Traditions” at Onondaga Free Library (4840 W. Seneca Turnpike), 2 p.m., free admission
  • Syracuse Chorale at St. Paul’s Cathedral (310 Montgomery St.), 3 p.m., $15 adults, $12 seniors and students, $8 under age 15.a
  • Winter Concert II at Onondaga Community College’s Storer Auditorium (4585 W. Seneca Turnpike), 3 p.m., free admission.
  • Jubilation! Women’s Vocal Ensemble at Park United Methodist Church (13 E. Pleasant St., Hamilton), 3:30 p.m., tickets $8.
  • The Dean Brothers at the Redhouse (201 S. West St.), 4 p.m., admission $15 for adults, $12 students
  • Syracuse Children’s Chorus at Most Holy Rosary Church (111 Roberts Ave.), 4 p.m., tickets $18 adults, $16 under 12.
  • Syracuse University Brass Ensemble at Hendricks Chapel, SU campus,7:30 p.m., free admission
  • Clarinet Recital by Syracuse University graduate student Baptiste Arnaud at Crouse College’s Setnor Auditorium, SU campus, 8 p.m., free admission
  • Arts & Crafts Festival with The Barrigar Brothers at Cayuga Community College Cafeterium, Auburn, 11 a.m.
  • Wells College Choral Ensembles at Wells College’s Barton Hall Recital Room, Aurora, 3 p.m.
  • Moscow Ballet at Turning Stone Casino Resort Showroom, Verona

  • Big Kahuna’s (17 Columbus St., Auburn) - Ron Spencer Band, 6 p.m.
  • Bridge Street Tavern (109 Bridge St., Solvay) – Open Mike with Johnny Rage, 7 p.m.
  • Cedar House Lanes (813 W. Genesee St., Skaneateles) – Joey Belladonna’s Big Way, 5 p.m.
  • Coleman’s Authentic Irish Pub (100 S. Lowell) - Donal O’Shaughnessy and Bryan Hyland
  • Empire Brewing Company (120 Walton St.) – Los Blancos, 12:30 p.m.
  • Moondance Tavern (2512 Route 20, Marcellus) – Raised On Radio, 5 p.m
