Sunday, Oct. 17: Live music in and around the 'Cuse

There’s a variety of live music events going on today in and around the ‘Cuse. Here’s what’s going on:

  • Todd Hobin performs with the LeMoyne College Jazzuits at 1:30 and 4:30 p.m at Jazz Central (441 E. Washington St.). Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for students.
  • The Soh Daiko Drum Troupe performs at 1:30 p.m. at the Zen Center of Syracuse (266 W. Seneca St). Admission is free.
  • Schola Cantorum of Syracuse performs at 3:30 p.m. at Crouse College’s Setnor Auditoirum on the Syracuse University Hill. Admission is $15 for adults, and $10 for seniors and students.
  • Solo Guitar Performances from various genres at 2 p.m. at Solvay Public Library’s Community Room (615 Woods Road, Solvay). Admission is free.
  • Weekly Old-Time Music Jam at Kellish Hill Farm (3192 Pompey Center Road, Manlius) at 1 p.m. followed by a potluck dinner. A $2 donation is suggested.
  • The Tiffany Harp Ensemble at Willard Memorial Chapel, Auburn at 2 p.m.
  • The Funky Blu Roots at Big Kahuna’s, Auburn at 6 p.m.
  • The Butternut Creek Band at Moondance Tavern, Marcellus at 5 p.m.
  • Jesse Collins Group at Al’s Wine and Whiskey Lounge (321 S. Clinton St.) at 9 p.m.
  • Miss E at Shifty’s (1401 Burnet Ave.), 7 p.m.
  • Open Mike with Joe Camber and The Marshall Dillon Band at Rooter’s Tavern (4141 S. Salina St.), 9 p.m.
  • Open Mike with Bill Oeinck at Gary’s (East Bridge Street, Oswego), 9 p.m..
  • Stevie Wolf and The Blues Express and Red Rooster Pub (4618 Jordan Road, Skaneateles Falls), 4 p.m.
  • The Country Castaways at Castaways (916 Route 37, Brewerton), 2 p.m.
  • The Funky Blu Roots at Big Kahuna’s Raw Bar and Grill (17 Columbus St., Auburn), 6 p.m.
