Friday, Oct. 29: ARISE Up Singing at May Memorial and more

Jeffrey Pepper Rogers headlines tonight’s ARISE UP Singing benefit to take place at May Memorial Unitarian Universalist Society (3800 E. Genesee St.). Proceeds from the event, which also features Joanne Perry, Dana “Short Order” Cooke, Christopher Weiss and Wendy Ramsay, will help ARISE and the Ski adaptive winter sports program at Toggenburg. Tickets for dinner and the concert are $25. Admission for just the show is $15.

  • The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra presents De Falla’s Three-Cornered Hat with guest violinist Augustin Hadelich, plus works from Custer and Dvorak. The concert, which takes place at the Mulroy Civic Center’s Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater (411 Montgomery St. ) starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $16, $26, and $41.
  • Alive! The Kiss Tribute hits the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino at 8 p.m. tickets $15, $20, and $25.
  • Raq, Soul Risin’ and The Brethren are at the Westcott Theater ( 524 Westcott St.) The show starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $20.
