Friday, Sept. 17: Festa Italiana gets underway today in Clinton Square

The annual Festa Italiana kicks off today in front of City Hall in downtown Syracuse. Along with awesome food and drink, there's some great live music planned including performances by Jimmy Cavallo (4 p.m.), La Banda Rossa (6 p.m.), Rinaldo Toglia (8 p.m.), and Atlas (9:30 p.m.). The event runs through Sunday. Admission is free.
