Friday, Sept. 10: Syracuse Irish Festival kicks off today

The 2010 Guinness Syracuse Irish Festival gets underway today in Clinton Square. The event features Irish food, beer, crafts, dancers, and of course, live music. Today's lineup includes Taste of Ireland (noon), An Ceol (2 p.m.), Merry Mischief (3 p.m.), Seamus Kennedy (4 p.m.), The Flyin' Column (5:20 p.m.), Rising Gael (6:30 p.m.), The Elders (7:40 p.m.), and the Town Pants (9:30 p.m.). The festival runs through Saturday night. Admission is free.
