Friday, June 4: Taste of Syracuse kicks off today

The first big festival of the summer season, Taste of Syracuse, gets underway today in Clinton Square in downtown Syracuse. The two-day event kicks off at 11 a.m. Edgar Winter is tonight's headliner.

Also tonight
    Moe performs at Saranac Brewery (811 Edwards St., Utica). The show starts at 7 p.m. and tickets are $32 at the door.
  • Dusty Pas’cal and Mikey Powell are at the Onativia Methodist Church (6257 Dodge Rd., LaFayette) as part of the Onativia Music Series. The concert starts at 7 p.m. and is free (donations are welcome).
  • Civic Morning Musicals presents The Schumann Gala at 7:30 p.m. at First Unitarian Universalist Society (109 Waring Road). Admission is $25.
  • High Risk with Jenn Norris and Terry Quill perform as part of ACS Relay For Life at Auburn High School (250 Lake Ave., Auburn) at 8 p.m.
