Saturday, July 6: Taylor Dayne at Jazz Fest and much more

It's day three of the 2013 M&T Syracuse Jazz Fest at Jamesville Beach State Park (4110 West Shore Manor Road, Jamesville) and there's literally music all day long! Taylor Dayne headlines Saturday with a 9:30 p.m. performance.

Also scheduled to perform: the Liverpool High School Stage Band (3 p.m.), Oswego High School Jazz Ensemble (4 p.m.), Five to Life (5 p.m.), Brubeck Brothers Quartet (6:30 p.m.), and Ronnie Laws (8 p.m.).

Gates open at 2 p.m. Admission is free.

  • Benefit for Leroy Noftell (American Legion Post 317, Jordan Road and School St., Skaneateles Falls), noon - $10.
  • Megadeth, Black Label Society, Device, Hellyeah, Newsted, and Death Division at Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center (CMAC (3355 Marvin Sands Drive, Canandaigua), 4;30 p.m. - $25-$45.
  • Woods Valley Summer Concert Series with Pocket Change (6 p.m.), Birdseed Bandits (8 p.m.) and Nick, Nigel and Braids (10 p.m.), 5 p.m. - $8 for adults, $4 for ages 7-12, free for under age 6.
