Friday, July 27: Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival, Stage of Nations tonight

It’s the biggest weekend of the summer in downtown Syracuse with both the Northeast Jazz and Wine Festival and Stage of Nations starting today.

The jazz festival takes place on three stages in Clinton Square. Here is today’s schedule:
  • 5 p.m. (Mardi Gras Pavilion) - John Piazza’s “Best of Blue Note” Quintet
  • 5 p.m. (World Beat Pavilion) – Michael and Anjela Lynn
  • 6:30 p.m. (Main Stage) - The Blacklites 40th Anniversary Party
  • 7:30 p.m. (Mardi Gras Pavilion) – John Piazza’s “Best of Blue Note” Quintet
  • 7:30 p.m. (World Beat Pavilion) – Michael and Anjela Lynn
  • 8:15 p.m. (Main Stage) – Wouter Kellerman
  • 9:15 p.m. (Mardi Gras Pavilion) – John Piazza’s “Best of Blue Note” Quintet
  • 9:15 p.m. (World Beat Pavilion) – Michael and Anjela Lynn
  • 10 p.m. (Main Stage) – Gerald Veasley
  • 11 p.m. (Wise Guys Comedy Club) – E.S.P.

Stage of Nations Blue Rain ECOfest takes place in Hanover Square and features native arts, food, dancing, and performances by Grammy nominated singer Jana and Grammy award winner Joanne Shenandoah along with Morris and the Hepcats, Corn-bred, Los Blancos, and The Fabulous Ripcords.
