Sunday, Feb. 6: Live music events in and around the 'Cuse

From bluegrass to classical, there's something for everyone this first Sunday in February. Here's what's going on:

  • Harvey Nusbaum and the Salt Potatoes Band at the American Legion Hall (13 E. Main St., Marcellus), 11 a.m. - $10 for adults, kids under 16 free.
  • Society for New Music featuring pianist Sylvie Beaudette and guitarist Peter Kodzas at Liverpool Public Library’s Carman Community Room (310 Tulip St.), 2 p.m. - free admission.
  • Old-Time Music Jam at Kellish Hill Farm (3192 Pompey Center Road, Manlius), 1 p.m. - $2 suggested donation.
  • Mezzo-soprano Luba Lesser and pianist Maryna Mazhukhova at the Fayetteville Free Library (300 Orchard St., Fayetteville), 2 p.m. - Free.
  • Ruby Shooz at Paradise Market (3179 Erie Blvd.), 2 p.m.
  • Doc Weismore and The Ridge Road Ramblers at Coutnry Music Park, Cortland, 2 p.m.
  • Country Castaways Band at Castaways (916 County Route 37, Brewerton), 2 p.m.
  • Los Blancos at Empire Brewing Co. (120 Walton St.), 12:30 p.m.
  • Rooter’s Blues Jam with Shakedown at Rooters Tavern (4141 S. Salina St.), 9 p.m.
