Friday, Feb. 25: Railroad Earth at the Westcott and more

There's some great live music in and around the 'Cuse this last Friday of February. Here's what's going on:

    Railroad Earth
  • Railroad Earth and the Tim Herron Corporation at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.), 8 p.m. - $25 at the door.
  • Syracuse Symphony Orchestra presents Kazuyoshi Akiyama conducting a program of Reich, Sibelius and Takemitsu at the Mulroy Civic Center’s Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater (411 Montgomery St.), 8 p.m. - $16, $26, $41.
  • OCC African Ensemble at Onondaga Community College’s Storer Auditorium (4585 W. Seneca Turnpike), 11:15 a.m. - Free.
  • Chicks That Rock featuring Adrenaline Crush, Catastrophe Me, Enter Eden, Merrill Amos and the Feroni Project at Fusion (3705 Brewerton Road, North Syracuse), 9 p.m. - $5 for 21 and over, $10 for ages 18-21.
  • Stratospheerius at the Water Street Café (within the old City Hall, 159 Water St., Oswego), 9 p.m. - $7.
