Saturday, Jan. 8: January Jam at the Westcott and more

The Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.) rocks out with House on a Spring, Master Thieves, Lee Terrace, Phantom Chemistry and more as part of January Jam. Music starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are $10.

  • Syracuse Symphony Orchestra with guest cellist Julie Albers and conductor Daniel Hege  at the Mulroy Civic Center’s Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater (411 Montgomery St.). The concert starts at 8 p.m. and tickets are  $15, $25, and $40.
  • Vocalist Johnny Carlo, jazz guitarist Marcus Curry and pianist Bob Price perform as part of a holiday part at the United Church of Fayetteville’s Steeple Coffeehouse (310 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville). The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. and there's $10 suggested donation.
  • Loren Barrigar at the Westcott Community Center (826 Euclid Ave.), 8 p.m., $15.
  • Brownskin at The Redhouse (201 S. West St.), 8 p.m., $5.
  • My Sweet Patootie at the Oswego Music Hall (McCrobie Civic Center, 41 Lake St., Oswego), 8 p.m., $14 at the door.
