Wednesday, Nov. 24: Lots of live music to celebrate Thanksgiving Eve!

It's Thanksgiving Eve, a night when locals get out and meet friends who are visiting from out-of-town. What better way to celebrate the holiday than to check out some of the great live music in and around the 'Cuse.  Here's what's going on:
  • The Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.) will rock as local musicians present the Indie Rock Showcase. Bands include Professional Victims, Gracious Sakes Alive, Phantom Chemistry, Counterpursuit and Milking Diamonds. Music starts at 8 p.m. and admission is $10.
  • Cruel Hand headlines at Lost Horizon (5863 Thompson Rd.). The show, which also features Backtrack, Ghost Ship and Atlas starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.
  • Loren Barrigar and Dusty Pas’Cal, and Tommy Connors and Jeffrey Scott Connor at Auburn Public Theater (108 Genesee St., Auburn)
