Saturday, Nov. 13: Old school stylings at Turning Stone and much more

Get ready for some smooth, old-school sounds as Charlie Thomas’ Drifters and Herb Reed and the Platters perform at the Showroom at Turning Stone Resort and Casino. The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30, $35,and $45.


Also tonight
  • Fritz’s Polka Band performs at the annual Schlachfest (as in autumn harvest) at the Utica Maennerchor (108 Flannagan Road, Marcy). Admission is $8 for the show, $15 for the show and a roast pork dinner.
  • Los Blancos performs at Trapper's Pizza Pub in East Syracuse as part of a benefit for the Central New York Youth Lacrosse association.
  • Atom Hadm (CD release party for Civic Weight) with Utility Life and Magnetic Pull at TheRaven Pub, Oswego, 7 p.m.
  • The Atkinson Family Bluegrass Band is at Kellish Hill Farm (3192 Pompey Center Road, Manlius) at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.
  • The Syracuse University Women’s Choir performs along with choirs from Skaneateles and Cazenovia high schools. The show takes place at 2 p.m. at Crouse College’s Setnor Auditorium on the Syracuse University campus. Admission is free.
  • NoXcuse, a nine-man a capella group performs at the Plainville Christian Church (752 W. Genesee Rd., Plainville). The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for students.
  • The Music Masters is at the United Church of Fayetteville’s Steeple Coffeehouse (310 E. Genesee St., Fayetteville) at 7:30 p.m. A $10 donation is suggested.
  • Kambuya Marimba Ensemble at Westcott Community Center (826 Euclid Ave.) – 8 p.m. Admission is $5.
  • Walden Chamber Players perform works from Schubert, Brahms and more at Lincoln Middle School (1613 James St.). The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for children.
  • Syracuse Symphony Orchestra at. Mulroy Civic Center’s Crouse-Hinds Concert Theater (411 Montgomery St.), 8 p.m. Tickets $16, $26, and $41.
  • Maaze with members of The Deadbeats, Raisinhead, Schoolbus Yellow, God Street Wine, and Slam Allen at Old City Hall (159 Water St., Oswego), 10 p.m.
