Sunday, August 29: Justin Bieber concert postponed until Wednesday

The  Justin Bieber sold-out concert scheduled for tonight has been postponed until Wednesday, Sept. 1. According to an announcement by the State Fair, Bieber is ill and cannot perform due to doctor's orders. Tickets sold for tonight's show will be honored Wednesday. Tickets can be also be returned for a refund prior to Wednesday's show, which goes on at 7 p.m.

You can still enjoy plenty of live music at the fair today, however. Chevy Court will feature performances by the Trailer Choir at 2 p.m. and  Blues Traveler at 8 p.m.

Here's a complete lineup of today's entertainment at the fair:
  • 11 a.m. – Double Take (Dairy Products Building), Syracuse School of Dance (Colonnade Stage), Larry Sings Amore (New Times Theatre), Traditional Native American Dancing (Iroquois Village)
  • 12 p.m. Syracuse’s Adirondack Mountain Cloggers (Grange Building)
  • 1 p.m. - Double Take (Dairy Products Building), Syracuse School of Dance (Colonnade Stage)
  • 2 p.m. – Trailer Choir (Chevy Court), Syracuse’s Adirondack Mountain Cloggers (Grange Building), New York State Fair Youth Gospel Choir (Little Caesar’s Talent Showcase Stage)
  • 3 p.m. – Double Take (Dairy Products Building), Voices of Victory (Little Caesar’s Talent Showcase Stage)
  • 3:30 p.m. - Markita Collins (Little Caesar’s Talent Showcase stage)
  • 4 p.m. – Harrington School of Irish Step Dance (Colonnade Stage)
  • 5 p.m. – Double Take (Dairy Products Building), Johnson School of Irish Dance (New Times Theatre), Eternal Hope Worship Center Choir (Little Caesar’s Talent Showcase Stage)
  • 5:30 pm.. – The DixieKats (Colonnade Stage)
  • 6 pm. – Alan Sokoloski (Grange Building), New York State Fair Youth Gospel Choir (Little Caesar’s Talent Showcase Stage)
  • 6:30 p.m. – About Time Band (West End Bar and Grille), McCarthy Family Sing-a-Long (Agricultural Museum)
  • 7 p.m. – The DixieKats (Colonnade Stage), Double Take (Dairy Products Building), Traditional Native American dancing (Iroquois Village)
  • 8 p.m. – Blues Traveler (Chevy Court), Salsa-Son-Timba (Pan African Village), JJ Hairston and Youthful Praise Choir (Little Caesar’s Talent Showcase Stage), Al Sokoloski (Grange Building), Bobby Green and a Cut Above (Pan-African Village)
Also today
  • Fritz's Polka Band (Concert by the Lake, Old Forge) - 7 p.m.
  • Quigsy and the Bird at the Cortland Celtic Festival (30 Main St., Cortland) starting at noon
  • Taste Of Oswego with The Billionaires and Jimmy D & The Jury from noon to 6 p.m. at East Linear Park, Oswego
  • Old-Time Music Jam at 1 p.m. at Kellish Hill Farm (3192 Pompey Center Rd, Manlius). Potluck dinner and open music jam. Donations accepted.
  • Hope Grietzer at 2 p.m. at the North American Fiddlers’ Hall of Fame and Museum (1121 Comins Road, Osceola). Admission is free.
