'Idol's' Katharine McPhee to appear at New York State Fair

Another 'American Idol' alum is coming to Central New York this summer. Season 5 runner-up Katharine McPhee will be performing at Chevrolet Court at the New York State Fair at 2 p.m. September 5. The concert is free with paid admission.

Here's the lineup for Chevrolet Court for this year's fair as of June 22:

• August 26: En Vogue (2 p.m.), Kool and the Gang (8 p.m.)
• August 27: Blue Oyster Cult (2 p.m.), Kansas (8 p.m.)
• August 28: Adam Richman (Man vs. Food - 2 p.m.), Styx (8 p.m.)
• August 29: Trailer Choir (2 p.m.), Blues Traveler (8 p.m.)

• August 31: Herman's Hermits featuring Peter Noone (2 p.m.)
• Sept. 1: Lady Antebellum (8 p.m.)
• Sept. 2: Eli Young Band (2 p.m.)
• Sept. 3: Justin Moore (2 p.m.)
• Sept. 4: Mitchel Musso (2 p.m.)
