Mojo, Bella, About Time, Kat Tale, and Letizia and the Z Band perform as part of a benefit for the Vera House at Upstairs at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (246 W. Willow St.). The event starts at 1 p.m. Admission is $12.

• Local jazz great Nancy Kelly and band leader Rick Montalbano will be on hand to mentor aspiring jazz performers as part of today's "Vocal Jazz Jams" at Jazz Central (441 E. Washington St.). The event starts at 2 p.m. Admission is $6. Students will be admitted for $3.
• The weekly Old-Time Music Jam at Kellish Hill Farms (3192 Pompey Center Rd., Manlius) starts at 1 p.m. A $2 donation is suggested. The Lindsey Family performs after the jam.
