Thursday, Sept. 22: Catie Curtis at the Redhouse and more tonight

Catie Curtis

Singer/Songwriter Catie Curtis hits the Redhouse (201 West St.) for the first of two shows promoting her new CD, Sweet Life. Tonight's show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25. She will perform Friday at 8 p.m. as well.

    One of CNY's best festivals, the Westcott Street Cultural Fair, celebrates its 20th year today on Westcott street, in between Concord Street and Dell Street. The event features great food, merchandise, local artisans, and some of the area's best bands. Click here for the music lineup. The event is free and runs from 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

    The annual Italian festival, Festa Italiana, continues today in front of city hall at Washington and Montgomery streets in downtown Syracuse. The event features great Italian food, games, crafts, merchandise, and of course, live music.
