Thursday, August 22: Korn headlines as NYS Fair opens

The New York State Fair opens Thursday with lots of live music and great entertainment. Korn headlines at the Mohegan Sun Grandstand. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are  $25, $35, and $45.

• Salt-n-Pepa at Chevy Court, 2 p.m. - Free with fair admission ($10 at the gate)
•  Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at Chevy Court, 8 p.m. - Free with fair admission .
• New Day, Talent Showcase Stage, 7:30 p.m. -  Free with fair admission.
