Friday, July 5: Grandmothers of Invention at Jazz Fest and more

It's day two of the 2013 M&T Syracuse Jazz Fest at Jamesville Beach State Park (4110 West Shore Manor Road, Jamesville) and there's literally music all day long! The Grandmothers of Invention headline  with a performance at 9:30 p.m.

The Verizon Main Stage Lineup also includes the Paul V. Moore High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble (3 p.m.), Fayetteville-Manlius High School Jazz Ensemble (4 p.m.), Giacomo Gates (5 p.m.), Sophistafunk (6:30 p.m.), and The Yellowjackets (8 p.m.)

Gates open at 2 p.m. Admission is free.
