Sunday, Nov. 18: Benefit for victims of Hurricane Sandy today at Dinosaur
Area musicians will gather today at Upstairs at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que (246 W. Willow St.) as part of a benefit for victims of Hurricane Sandy. The event starts at 1:30 p.m. and runs through 10:45 p.m. A $10 donation is suggested. Attendees are also urged to bring items to help those affected, including household cleaning supplies, tools, snow shovels, winter clothing, bedding, personal hygiene items, and non-perishable food items. A delivery truck will be on site.
Bands scheduled to perform include: Puente Famenco (2 p.m.), Chris Taylor Unplugged (2:45 p.m.), Stroke featuring Isreal Hagan (3:45 p.m.), Tood Hobin and Doug Moncrief (4:30 p.m.), Grupo Pagan featuring Kim Fetter with Andy Rudy, Ashley Cox, and Maria DeSantis (4:45 p.m.), Joe Whiting Band with George Rossi (5:45 p.m.), Fab 570 (6:45 p.m.), Dark Hollow (7:45 p.m.), Count Blastula (8:45 p.m.), Phil Petroff and Natural Fact featuring Matt Tarbel (9:45 p.m.).
