Saturday, May 5: Crawfish Festival and much more today
Operation Southern Comfort's 5th Annual Crawfish Festival which kicks off today at 11 a.m. in Clinton Square. Admission is free and there will be plenty of live music and crawfish. Other food includes: gulf shrimp, corn, potatoes, jambalaya, red beans and rice, beignets, blooming onions, cajun wings, deep fried crawdaddies, and cajun curly fries.
Donations of cans or boxes of nonperishable food to benefit the food pantries at St. Joseph the Worker and St. Lucy's churches would be appreciated.
