New York State Blues Fest set for July 8-10 at Inner Harbor
The New York State Blues Festival is back after taking last year off due to lack of funding. The 20th edition of this popular festival will run from July 8 to July 10. The big news is that the event will be moving from its traditional Clinton Square location to Syracuse's Inner Harbor.
The festival will feature music all day, along with carnival rides and attractions, and refreshments. Admission is free.
Headlining this year's event are Hadden Sayers (July 8), Magic Slim and the Teardrops (July 9), and Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters (July 10).
CNY Central is co-sponsoring this year's event.
Here's the complete music lineup:
Friday: Funky Blu Roots, Mojo Myles Mancuso, Dana Fuchs, The Super Delinquents, Hadden Sayers
Saturday: Erin Harpe and the Delta Swingers, Ben Prestage, Mike Roberts, JW Jones, 2 Kool 4 Skool, Bryan Lee, Mark Doyle and The Maniacs, Magic Slim and the Teardrops
Sunday: Danielle Miraglia, Dave Fields, Corn-Bred, Peter Karp and Sue Foley, Jose Alvarez with Los Blancos, Terrence Simien, Soul of Syracuse (SOS), Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters
