Thursday, Nov. 4: Lots of live music in and around the 'Cuse
There are some interesting live music events today and tonight in and around the ‘Cuse. Here’s what’s going on:
- Percussionist Zakir Hussain and sitar master Niladri Kumar perform together at SUNY Oswego’s Waterman Theatre (Tyler Hall). The concert starts at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors.
- Accordionist Jimmy Compoli performs with singers Jerry Toti and Jerry Koczik and the Sgro Brothers at 2 p.m. at Smith Opera House (82 Seneca St., Geneva). Tickets are $27.50.
- Songwriter Johnny Mercer is honored tonight with a performance of his music by Cindy Miller and Alan Jones at the Center for the Arts (72 S. Main St., Homer). The show starts at 7 p.m. and admission is free.
- It’s open mike night at Kellish Hill Farms (3192 Pompey Center Rd., Manlius). Music from 7 to 10 p.m. A $2 donation is requested.
