Sunday, March 6: Los Blancos and more at benefit today

Los Blancos, The Fabulous Ripcords, and Mark Doyle and the Maniacs perform today as part of Restorin' Lauren: Gettin' Stoked To Conquer Stroke. Proceeds from the event, which takes place at Upstairs at the Dinosaur (246 W. Willow St.), will go to help Lauren Kent, 28, who suffered a dibiliating stroke in November. A $20 is requested. The event runs from 4 to 9 p.m.

Kid Cudi to headline SU's annual Block Party

Rapper Kid Cudi will be this year's headliner for the annual Syracuse University Block Party. The event, which takes place at the Carrier Dome April 29, also features Nas and Damian Marley. The show starts at 7 p.m.

Student tickets are priced at $15 and go on sale today. General admission tickets are $25 and will be available March 8. Tickets will be available at the Schine Student Center Box office and online at SU Athletics.
