Sunday, March 17: Happy St. Patrick's Day

Check out some of the great events planned to help you celebrate St. Patrick's Day:
  • Strung Sideways as part of Central New York Bluegrass Association jam (11 a.m.) and showcase (2 p.m.) at the Marcellus American Legion (13 E. Main St.), $10 for adults, free for kids under age 16.
  • Old-Time Music Jam at Kellish Hill Farm (3192 Pompey Center Road, Manlius), 1 p.m. (potluck supper at 5 p.m.) - $5 suggested donation.
  • Choral Evensong and Organ Recital at St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral (East Fayette and Montgomery streets), 4 p.m. - Free.
  • MasterWorks Chorale featuring members of Symphoria performing Mozart and Handel at St. Mary’s Catholic Church (15 Clark St., Auburn), 4 p.m. - $12 for adults, $10 for seniors and students, free under age 12.
  • Wooden Chalk and The Soup at the Auburn Public Theater (8 Exchange St., Auburn), 4 p.m. - $10.
At the clubs
  • Chief Bigway at LakeHouse Pub (6 W. Genesee St., Skaneateles), 6-9 p.m.
  • Flipside at UNC (125 Washington St., Auburn), 6-9 p.m.
  • Frenay and Lenin at Red Rooster Pub (4618 Jordan Road, Skaneateles Falls), 5-8 p.m.
  • George Leija and The Country Castaways at Castaways (916 County Route 37, Brewerton), 2 p.m.
  • Greg Hoover at Quaker Steak and Lube (3417 Walters Road), 7:30-9 p.m.
  • Hendry at Duskee’s Sports Bar (8 Bridge St., Phoenix), 1-5 p.m.
  • Hodson and Donelan at Moondance Tavern (2512 Route 20), 5 p.m.
  • Jeff Meloling at Quaker Steak and Lube (3417 Walters Road), noon-2 p.m.
  • Los Blancos at Empire Brewing Company (120 Walton St.), 12:30 p.m.
  • PaPa Joe Duo at Frank’s Moondance Tavern (2512 Cherry Valley Turnpike), 5-9 p.m.
  • New Day at Coleman’s Authentic Irish Pub (100 S. Lowell Ave.), 8-11 p.m.
  • The Noisy Boys at Shifty’s (1401 Burnet Ave.), 5-9 p.m.
