Friday, Sept. 14: Festa Italiana kicks off today

Last weekend it was the Irish who took over downtown Syracuse, this week, the Italians step up at the annual Festa Italiano gets underway at Syracuse City Hall plaza (Washington St.). Don't miss the awesome food, wares, and of course, live music.

Here's today's lineup: Jimmy Cavallo (4:15 p.m.), Letizia and the Z Band (6:30 p.m.), Alfio (7:50 p.m.), and Atlas (9 p.m.). Admission is free.
