Saturday, Sept. 11: Irish Festival continues in downtown Syracuse

The 2010 Guinness Syracuse Irish Festival continues today in Clinton Square. The event features Irish food, beer, crafts, dancers, and of course, live music. Today's lineup includes Taste of Blarney Rebel Band (12:15 p.m.), Hair of the Dog (1:30 p.m.), The Elders (3 p.m.), Seamus Kennedy (4:20 p.m.), Rising Gael (5:30 p.m.), The Causeway Giants (6:30 p.m.), The Glengarry Bhoys (8 p.m.), and The Elders (9:40 p.m. The festival runs through Saturday night. Admission is free.

This is not music related, but please, stop for a moment this morning to remember all the victims of the horrific events that took place nine years ago today in New York, Washington, DC, and Shanksville, PA. Click here for a list of  9/11 observances today in CNY.
