Sunday, May 2: Papadosio at the Westcott and more

Papadosio headlines tonight at the Westcott Theater (524 Westcott St.). Jimkata opens the show, which starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10.

Also today

  • The Syracuse University Concert Band performs its spring concert at 2 p.m. at Setnor Auditorium on the SU campus. Admission is free.
  • The Cornell Symphony Orchestra presents the world premiere performance of Eric Nathan’s award-winning Icarus "Dreamt." Also on the program, Tchaikovsky’s "Francesca da Rimini, op. 32" and Ravel’s "Daphnis et Chloe." The free concert starts at 3 p.m. at Bailey Hall on the Cornell University campus.
  • Onondaga Community College performs its spring concert at 3 p.m. at Storer Auditorium on the OCC campus. Admission is free.
  • Strings Attached performs works by Chopin, Debussy and more for American Cancer Society benefit concert. The concert, which starts at 3 p.m., takes place at First Unitarian Universalist Church (109 Waring Road, DeWitt). A $10 donation is suggested.
  • Schola Cantorum of Syracuse performs a program entitled "The Voice of the Turtle" at Pebble Hill Presbyterian Church(5299 Jamesville Road, DeWitt). General admission is $15. Student and seniors will be admitted for $10.
  • The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra performs at the Capitol Theatre (220 W. Dominick St., Rome) at 6 p.m. General admission is $20. Seniors will be admitted for $15 and children for $8.
  • The Crown City Brass, Homer Brass and St. Mary’s Brass perform a concert of brass-oriented music from the Renaissance through modern times at St. Mary’s Church(45 Main St., Cortland). The concert starts at 7 p.m. and a free-will offering will be taken.

  • Big Kahuna’s Raw Bar and Grill (17 Columbus St., Auburn) – 4 on The Floor with Scotty Trudell, 5 p.m.
  • Cedar House Lanes (813 W. Genesee St., Skaneateles) – Donna Colton, 5 p.m.
  • Coleman's Authentic Irish Pub (100 S Lowell Ave.) – Freedom Sons, 4 p.m.
  • Drive Way Inn (Route 3, Palermo) – Ed Goetz and Silver Spur, 4 p.m.
  • Empire Brewing Company (120 Walton St.) – Los Blancos, 12:30 p.m.
  • Kitty Hoynes Irish Pub (301 W. Fayette St.) – Ryan Burdick, noon
  • Moondance Tavern (2512 Route 20, Marcellus) – Dr. Killdean, 5 p.m.
  • Red Rooster Pub (4618 Jordan Rd., Skaneateles Falls) – Barrigar Brothers, 4 p.m.
  • Rooter’s Tavern (4141 S. Salina Street) – Shakedown Blues, 9 p.m.
  • Sherwood Inn (26 W. Genesee St., Skaneateles) – Paul Taylor, 4 p.m.
  • Singer’s Karaoke Club (1345 Milton Ave.) - Karaoke with Daniel Jack, 9 p.m.
  • Shifty’s (1401 Burnet Ave.) – Colin Aberdeen, 7 p.m.
  • Swifty’s (45 Perrine St., Auburn) - Kim Fetters and Andy Rudy, 6 p.m.
